About the Wishing Well

Our Story

The Wishing Well is a charming toy shop owned by the Benavidez Brenier family. We have been in Whittier for over 15 years granting wishes on a daily basis. When the world shut down during the Spring of 2020; our economy and world was hit with devastating news. Our community rallied together and helped us stay open. With heartfelt gratitude we reopened our doors, continuing to provide joy and magical experiences with our curated selection of toys.

Our Mission

In a world full of chain stores, with mass produced goods, The Wishing Well comes by like a breath of fresh air with its unique toy collection. Nestled on a quiet street in Uptown Whittier is our store. We aim to enchant hearts and bring out the child in you. Inspired by the charm of our community we strive to be more than a store, but a place where dreams take flight and childhood memories are made.
